Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 13, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how JAlcocerTech (“we”, “our”, “I”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use this site (consulting.jalcocertech.com), the qualifier form, the booking flow, the free ebooks site (ebooks.jalcocertech.com), and any consulting engagement that follows.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you interact with the consulting funnel we may collect:

  • Qualifier form data (via Formbricks): project description, AI feature you’re building, the decision you want answered, budget bracket, ebooks-read confirmation, first name, email, and optional company name.
  • Booking data (via Cal.com): name, email, time slot, any pre-call notes you add.
  • Payment data (via the payment processor used by Cal.com / Stripe): billing details. Card numbers never reach our servers — they are handled directly by the processor.
  • Call & deliverable content: notes taken during the 30-min call and the written deliverable produced afterwards.
  • Email correspondence: any messages you send before, during, or after the engagement.

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit this site we automatically collect, in anonymized aggregate form only:

  • Browser type and OS family
  • Pages visited and time on page
  • Referring URL / UTM parameters (when present)
  • Country/region (no city-level or precise geo)

We do not set advertising cookies and do not run cross-site tracking pixels.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Qualify the engagement: decide whether the 30-min call is the right fit, or route you to the free ebooks / retainer path.
  • Deliver the service: run the call, produce the written deliverable, send the async follow-up email.
  • Process payment for the $235 call (or proposed retainer scope).
  • Honour the guarantee: process refund requests under the plan-or-refund terms (see Terms of Service).
  • Improve the funnel: identify where qualified leads drop off (no individual tracking).
  • Comply with tax & legal obligations.

We do not use your data for outbound marketing without explicit opt-in. We do not sell or rent personal data to any third party, ever.

Data Sharing and Sub-processors

We use the following third-party processors. Each holds only the data needed for its function:

  • Formbricks — qualifier form responses
  • Cal.com — booking & calendar
  • Stripe (or the processor Cal.com routes payment through) — payment
  • Email provider (e.g. Google Workspace) — outbound email & deliverable delivery
  • Umami Analytics — anonymized site usage (self-hosted)
  • Hosting provider — server infrastructure

Data may be disclosed when legally required (court order, lawful request), or in the rare event of a business sale or restructuring.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards:

  • TLS for all data in transit
  • Encrypted storage and access controls
  • No card data stored on our servers
  • Mutual NDA available on request before sharing sensitive material

No system is 100% secure. Where possible, send sanitized snippets rather than full production data on the 30-min call.

Data Retention

  • Qualified leads who don’t book: deleted within 90 days.
  • Booked calls: client contact + deliverable retained for 3 years (tax + reference + warranty period for the guarantee).
  • Refunded calls: deliverable + transactional record retained for the legal retention period; everything else deleted on request.
  • Retainer clients: duration of engagement plus 5 years (commercial law / accounting).
  • Inactive prospects: deleted on request, or automatically after 24 months of no contact.

You may request earlier deletion at any time — see “Your Rights”.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete (“right to be forgotten”) — subject to legal retention obligations
  • Port your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object to specific processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise these rights, email: [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies and Tracking

This site uses only:

  • Essential cookies for core site functionality (none currently set by default)
  • Cal.com cookies when you interact with the booking embed
  • No advertising / tracking cookies

Analytics

We use Umami Analytics (self-hosted, privacy-first):

  • No cookies, no cross-site tracking
  • No personally identifiable information collected
  • Data anonymized and aggregated
  • Stored on our own infrastructure
  • GDPR-compliant by design

Data collected: page views, visit duration, referrer, device class, country-level geo.
